Skating at Harbourfront was fun. Today was the first time this week that I went to the rink to have fun, not caring at improving my technique. We skated for one hour and it felt great. I cannot wait to skate tomorrow again! I left the new Wifa stakes at the repair shop to see if they can stretch it. The skates have a fantastic blade but it is a bit tight. I will have to stake for one week with the hybrid ones but it is not an issue.
I also had some extra "motivation" to exercise as we experienced a power outage in the building and I had to go from P3 to the 10th floor twice, and from the 10th floor to P3 three times. My neighbours were calling me a champ :)
Breakfast was pretty small for a weekend breakfast. I had scrambled eggs with cheese, cucumber with hummus, a Brazil nut, danActive with all bran buds, and coffee with milk.
I had a cereal bar, cole slaw, and more all bran buds as snacks.
My lunch was a flop on my diet. I had half of a falafel sandwich and a few sips of a coke. The best part of the meal was to realize that I no longer enjoy the taste of coke. It is way too sweet for me.
Later on tonight, I will have a super foodie dinner with a friend. We will go to Marben (http://www.marbenrestaurant.com) and we will eat at the kitchen and they will try some new things on us. I will be uploading the photos as I eat and I will try to give a scope of what was a yeah and what was a neah.
BTW, I went to my G.P. today and my blood test results were up. I am super healthy, no issues in my Thyroid, which means that my increase on weight was the result of eating out all the time and not exercising much. On the other hand, if my results were so perfect as described is because I am taking every single day a bunch of supplements. That said, there is no way I can skip the Vitamin D, CalMag, Iron, or the Probiotic. Bummer!
So far here are the numbers:
753 calories
2 glasses of water
7 hours of sleep
1 hour of free skating and a lot of leg exercises going up and down the stairs
I will try to keep the blog fed during dinner time. (please note that the pictures will look huge and disorganized)
Cheers,
Fernanda
Marben: So much excitement...I was able to sit at the kitchen table (imagine breakfast bar) but they were not creating dishes on the fly and testing on us. I have to say that I would easily come back there just for dessert (Lavender Creme Brule). The lobster guacamole was very good, as well as the scallop and the trout.
