There is no place like home..
I just remembered today that I cannot overbook my agenda if I want to have a healthy lifestyle. Every time I find myself having too many commitments, I realize that I don't have enough time to sleep, to cook, and to exercise. It is going towards unbalance even though my time is going towards things that I enjoy. I need to take breaks. Slow down and enjoy the beauty of far niente.
I had an easy breakfast today. Fruit salad, and a boiled egg. Coffee with milk, and a Brazil nut.
Lunch was even easier! Leftovers from last night class (stir fry with more fruit salad for dessert).
I had a few snacks today. A skinny vanilla bean latte, a low fat DanActivia, and some trail mix.
As I behaved extremely well today with my meals, and I had some very limited time to eat before heading to the theatre, I was able to share a dim sum platter with a friend which I complemented with a small cup of marrocan vegetable soup. Yes, I entered a food court of a mall today :)
"There is no place like home" Dorothy said. I could not agree more. After a long day there is no better feeling than going back home, where you belong, where you feel well. Tomorrow will be a great day because I know that after I finish at work, I will enjoy a me, me, me night.
