Breakfast was super simple today. Apple, cherry tomatoes, yellow peppers, an egg, sockeye salmon, a brazil nut, coffee with milk and a DanActive.
Lunch was pretty heavy (no wonder I was not hungry during the afternoon). Greek salad with chicken shawarma from Sofra Istanbul(my favourite Turkish place in GTA- great Pide).
I had a skinny latte right after lunch ( more to control my level of sleepiness than to keep my stomach full).
Dinner was an adventure as tonight I was organizing a foodie event. We went to Khao San Road in downtown Toronto and the place was super busy by 6PM. We were a party of 7 so we managed to get a spot for 7:45. We went to Town Crier Pub for a drink as we had a long wait ahead of us. The pub was not bad at all. Very cozy for a pub (I am not a bar/pub person so it is hard to please me). I had a cosmo. It felt as I was having dessert before dinner.
We got back to Khao San Road at 7:45 pm and waited for 5 more minutes. I was already starving and even though I did not eat all the food you see on the plate, I know I overate. I had chicken Panang curry with rice and a glass of wine. It was ok but next time I will ask for spicy. Medium was too much of a gwilo food for me. That place is great for takeout so you don't have to wait for hours to get your food.
I was able to workout today. Tomorrow it will be even better as I will be able to work out and skate. Cannot wait to be back to the ice!
